Draft Command

Privacy Policy

This is the whole policy, not a summary of one kept elsewhere.

Effective 20 October 2026  ·  replaces the version of 6 August 2026

The short version

Draft Command collects nothing about you. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising or tracking software of any kind, and no server of ours that your data passes through.

Everything the app knows about you and your leagues lives on your device. When you connect a fantasy platform, your device talks to that platform directly. We are not in the middle, and we could not read it if we wanted to.

The app does download things: player projections we publish, and public NFL data such as weekly projections and game times. Those downloads carry nothing about you. The rest of this page is the detail.

What stays on your device

Your leagues

For each league you save: its name, scoring rules, roster slots, team count, draft type and budget, plus anything you add yourself, such as keepers, a draft plan or players you have starred. Stored using the operating system's standard app storage, and removed when you delete the app.

Leagues imported from Yahoo are never written to disk. They exist only while the app is open and are gone when it closes. That is the most conservative reading of what Yahoo permits a developer to do with its fantasy data, so it is what we do, and it is why a Yahoo league must be re-imported after a relaunch.

Rosters you paste

For platforms the app cannot read directly, you can copy your league's roster page and paste it in. The pasted text is read on your device, and the rosters it contains are kept on your device so the league is still there next time you open the app. Pasting again replaces them. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere.

League Command

In season, the app remembers which team in each league is yours, and a snapshot of the advice it last showed you, so it can tell you what has changed since you last looked. Both are stored on your device, per league.

Your draft

Picks, prices, rosters and grades are computed on your device as the draft happens and are not uploaded anywhere. A draft in progress is not saved when you close the app. Practice drafts are kept on your device, separately from your real leagues.

Player projections

The app keeps a copy of the latest player projections it has downloaded (see below), so the board opens instantly and works without a connection. This is the same file for everyone and contains nothing about you.

Platform sign-ins

If you connect a platform, what keeps you signed in is held in the Keychain with two deliberate restrictions: it is marked this device only, so it never syncs to iCloud or reaches any other device you own, and it is readable only while the device is unlocked.

Your password is never entered into the app, stored by it, or sent to us. Yahoo sign-in happens on Yahoo's own page in a secure system browser window. ESPN and CBS Sports sign-in happens on their own login pages, shown inside the app in a private browser window that keeps no history and whose fields the app never reads. When you finish, the app keeps only the session token the platform issues, and nothing else from that window.

What leaves your device, and where it goes

Every request goes from your device straight to the service listed. Nothing is relayed through us.

DestinationWhenWhat for
Sleeper You import a Sleeper league or start live sync League settings, rosters, draft picks, live nominations
Sleeper (public data) League Command, for any league Public NFL player list, weekly projections, game stats and the current week. No account or league information is sent
ESPN You import an ESPN league or start live sync League settings, rosters, draft picks
ESPN (public data) League Command on game days The public NFL scoreboard, to know which games have kicked off. No account information is sent
Yahoo You connect Yahoo and import a league Sign-in, then league settings and rosters. Read-only
CBS Sports You connect CBS and import a league Sign-in, then league settings
GitHub When the app opens Downloads the latest player projections, which we publish there. A plain download, the same for everyone
Apple You buy or restore a pass Handled entirely by the App Store (see below)

Like any request on the internet, each of these reaches the service with your device's IP address. What those services do with a request once it reaches them is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.

Connecting nothing is a supported way to use the app. The board, the valuations, the tiers and manual pick entry work without any account, and without a connection once projections have been downloaded or using the copy built into the app.

Access is read-only. The app does not change your league, roster, lineup, waivers or transactions on any platform. Its lineup, waiver and trade suggestions are advice; you make any change yourself, on the platform.

What we never do

Purchases

Passes are sold through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see, receive, or store your card details, billing address, or Apple ID.

What the app receives from Apple is the answer to one question: which passes this Apple ID currently holds. That answer is used on your device to decide what is unlocked, and is not sent anywhere.

Apple provides us with aggregate sales reports, which count purchases and do not identify buyers.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove everything it has stored: leagues, pasted rosters, League Command history, practice drafts, downloaded projections and platform sign-ins. Nothing survives it, and nothing is kept anywhere else for us to delete on your behalf.

There is no deletion request to file, because there is no copy in anyone else's hands. Data a platform holds about you, such as your league on Sleeper or ESPN, is governed by that platform.

This website

draftcommand.app is a static site hosted by Netlify. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or scripts. Netlify keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, as any web host does. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google when you load a page here.

Children

Draft Command is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. A change that would newly collect, transmit, or share personal information will be announced in the app before it takes effect, not published here quietly.
